Paint Parties

Let’s Have a Paint Party!

You provide the beverages, I’ll provide the materials, and we’ll all wind down with a painting of your choice. All you need is a minimum of four friends (Including you) to follow step by step to your next masterpieces! I come to you for this service, so make sure you have a space available for painting. We can use drop cloths to protect your home and pizza box-easels for table tops. I am able to supply tables if necessary. Each painting takes between 1.5 – 2 hours to complete and costs $40 per person. Contact me directly to schedule your evening!

Paint on the Lake

Once again, this option is BYOB, but this time I will provide some light snacks and the setting of our very own beautiful Big Bear Lake. We’ll set out with ample sunlight and all of our supplies. Once we find a sheltered spot we’ll set anchor and get started! It’s a wonderful way to wind down, enjoy the warm weather and get out on the lake. Regularly scheduled trips will be held on Thursdays from 4:30pm, and you are welcome to contact me directly to schedule an alternative time. Standard, midweek tours cost $50 per person, with a maximum of 8 painters (Additional ride-alongs may be arranged per request).

Plein Air Experience

So you found a patch of flowers that just keep catching your eye? A particular mountain range has captivated your imagination? Join me in locating a safe, outdoors space to meet up and practice painting a scene. This is a bit more demanding of your attention than a typical paint party, but the results are utterly unique and the experience is positively cathartic. I’ll provide a folding table, chairs, painting materials, light snacks and water, you provide yourself and any other beverages. We will heighten your attention to both broad strokes and details in your landscape, and I will guide you in composition and selection of colors. Keep in mind that these may not turn out exactly as you expect, but we will work together to learn something new and hopefully send you home happy with the results! $50 per person, minimum of 3 painters.
